The more we learn, the more we realise how much we don’t know.
The foundation for learning is doing much, viewing much, suffering much and studying much.
Learning leads to discovering what’s possible.
Five of the best tips to help you learn
*Learn from many people
As a bee takes honey from many flowers, learn from many sources.
Move about to learn new skills from different people and organisations. Work experiences and qualifications are easy to carry around.
If you are a student, advance your degrees at different colleges and universities, preferably in different countries.
*We learn best when we are enjoying our learning and having fun
Often extra curriculum activities can be as important to learn as studying, for example, learning to join clubs and organise events.
*The greater the involvement, the more we learn
Little of what we passively listen to is remembered.
Tell me and I may forget, teach me and I may remember but involve me and I will learn.
*Never be frightened to ask WHY? – you may learn something
Make an effort to be curious at all times.
Life is a journey – not a destination.
Be curious – not judgmental.
*Learn as if you were to live forever
Develop a passion for learning. Be prepared to work hard and learn from your failures.
A sense of achievement is one of our most satisfying experiences, and especially achievements in learning.
