At the start, there is much to do. But by planning and whittling away, things become few.
Minutes spent planning can save hours when it comes to execution.
When planning it is important to define the mission, the objectives, and the strategies correctly and to get the basic assumptions right at the start.
A handful of tips to help with your planning
*Make logical plans
The planning process must be logical to reflect the successive steps and conditions required to reach their objectives.
*Plan for the future
People leaders must be concerned with tomorrow. They must not live in the past but must plan for the future – today!
*Good planning can save time
If you have planned for a crisis you will save much time should one occur.
*Get your employees involved
Your first step is to bring your team towards supporting the corporate vision.
* A plan is not a static thing
Good people leaders should be constantly making environmental and political scans. Plans should be dynamic and changes must be made to respond to changing environments as soon as possible.
