Many people have lost their jobs and are in lock-down confined to their homes.
Morale for many people can be at an all-time low.
Morale boosting activities or events can make people feel more confident and cheerful.
A handful of tips to help boost morale
*For peace of mind, ration your time
If working from home take breaks periodically.
Call up your colleagues. Schedule virtual coffee meetings online and take chatty breaks as you would at work.
Why not listen to music you enjoy or pause to read a book from time to time.
Learn to turn off your electronic devices at set hours so you can enjoy your family uninterrupted.
Make the time to plan and to dream.
Identify the most productive hours of your working day and see if you can use them for your high priority tasks.
*Show you care
If you are a people leader give your employees challenging tasks so they feel they are making a worthwhile contribution.
Take an interest in their problems and their family life.
Send them small gifts to show they are not forgotten.
*If working from home keep both bodies and mind active
Try to keep fit and mentally active.
Eat healthy foods and take regular exercise.
Why not use your extra bonus time you gain from not having to travel to work for a spot of gardening.
*Is this the time to consider changing your career?
Why not learn a new skill. Many organisations have online learning. Many courses are free.
What are your interests and your skills? What do you do best? Can you turn your hobby into a job? Can you set up your own business from your home?
Make the time to dream a new direction.

“Do unto others as they would do unto you.”This is the golden rule for successful people leaders. It ‘s so simple and it does help boost morale. People want to find meaning and a purpose to boost their morale.
