CONFIDENCE –
Build Your Self-Esteem
If you believe in yourself you can achieve whatever you want out of life.
Make the time to decide what you want to be, then with determination and persistence set out to reach your goals.
Your first step is to decide on your goals, then you need to build up your confidence.
If you have confidence in yourself, others will have confidence in you.
Doubt others, but never doubt yourself.
A handful of tips to build your confidence
* Think about your achievements
What things are you most proud of?
Forget any mistakes you have made – they can be classified as learning experiences.
* Master new skills
Join a self improvement organisation, such as a debating club, a theatre group, a lodge, a service club, a church group or a sports club.
Accept responsibilities and build your confidence while practicing new skills. Keep asking yourself; “How can I do tasks better?”
Study for new qualifications. On-line learning can be done from home these days.
* Do the things you enjoy
Spend time with the people that make you happy.
Do the things you enjoy doing. Get a hobby!
* Help in community projects
This is a good way to network, to get to know new people and to build yourself confidence while helping others.
* Travel and explore
Try new things like exploring, camping, tramping, hiking and when it is available, explore new countries. Strange situations will help build up your confidence. Studying in a new country can do wonders to your confidence.
It’s now over to you . If you believe you can do it you will succeed!
