A good leader doesn’t try to eliminate conflicts but tries to keep people from wasting their time and energy on them.
The goal of conflict resolution is not to decide which person is right or wrong, it is to reach a solution that everyone can live with.
A handful of tips to help you resolve your next conflict.
* Define the conflict
Look at it from both sides. Jot down your conclusions.
* Analyse the real situation
Set up a time and place to discuss the conflict without interruptions.
Talk about your feelings and personal reasons for differences. Consider historic reasons.
Be honest and frank.
* List possible solutions to resolve differences
Examine and discuss all the alternatives.
Be prepared to compromise and to select the best alternative.
* Plan the action needed to resolve differences

Who will do what by when?
