2022 is a new year. Where do you want to be at the end of this year?
Your work break is the time to plan.
First, you must make some courageous decisions.
Make a plan, and set some goals.
Then there are four keys to success – have a tenacity of purpose, what you know, who you know and gaining the necessary resources.
Most successful people are just common people who apply themselves in uncommon ways.
A handful of tips to get things done
* What’s to be done?
Practice thrift or things will drift.
Forecast where you plan to go.
Set down the conditions and assumptions under which your steps will be done.
The failure to plan is a plan for failure.
When do you hope to achieve your goals?
Be brave and keep your goals to the fore.
Knowledge is power but the action gets things done.
* What resources will you need?
Budget your time and financial costs.
Practice thrift or things will drift.
How much time will be needed for the various tasks?
* Create policies, procedures, and methods
Set goals and standards to be achieved so you will know when they have been reached.
* Anticipate problems and decide how to overcome them
Make up a list of possible events that might occur.
* Your plan is not a static thing
Changes must be made if conditions change.
Make sudden changes if and when it is required, but be prepared.
* Make sure you know what you have to do
Clarify tasks you need to get done by when.
