Stress indicates you haven’t got your life balance right. This is the time to take stock of your daily activities. and make plans to make a few changes.
Try to spend more time planning and organizing your work, and your leisure.
A Handful of Tips to reduce your daily work stress
* Take control of your life
Moderation in all things is a good saying to keep in mind.
Make an effort to change your attitude to your work.
* Organise your work better
Spend more time this year planning your work and your leisure.
Prioritize your work.
Don’t procrastinate. Make decisions quickly. Try to meet deadlines early.
Do not work a seven-day week.
To relieve pressure, delegate tasks to people you trust. Let others make some of your decisions.
* Reward yourself
Make healthy breaks when you have done a good job.
Take relaxing lunches and regular drink breaks.
Turn off your electronic devices at selected times.
Celebrate your work achievements.
* Keep healthy
Set aside time each week for leisure, for family time, and do the things you enjoy.
Only work hard for limited periods,
Have regular medical checkups.
Watch your diet and seek healthy foods.
Drink plenty of water – it’s cheap and if boiled, it is safe.
Get plenty of exercises and refreshing sleep.
Learn to relax and control your anger if things go wrong.
Try not to sit in front of your computer and your TV for lengthy periods.
Walkabout and get plenty of exercises. Walking and swimming are good ways to exercise and are cheap.

The best way to relax is to do the things you enjoy.
Try to lead a balanced life with strong social and family contacts.
Learn how to ‘switch off’ occasionally so you return to work fresh and creative.
