Your Action PLAN –
Dream what you dare to dream. Go where you want to go. Be what you want to be.
If your goal or goals are realistic enough, and you are determined enough, you can achieve amazing results.
To do this you will need an action plan.
An action plan is a step-by-step approach to achieving your goal; by listing ‘who‘ does ‘what‘ and by ‘when‘.
A handful of tips to help you achieve your goals
* Set realistic goals
Write them down. Use simple words.
What do you really want to achieve, by when?
* List actions needed
Make lists, and actions needed, to reach your goal.
Set them out in a logical plan, step by step.
Consider possible setbacks. How can they be best overcome?
Political, economic, and climate changes are often unpredictable.
* What’s to be done, by when?
Prepare a timeline.
Great things can be achieved if you are not too busy doing little things – people who begin many things finish few.
You need to be strong-willed and determined to succeed. It often means giving up some activities that you may enjoy.
* Consider alternatives
Make your plans dynamic
Consider alternatives, in-case changes are needed.
* Draft your plan and start
Plan logically, step by step.
How will you know when it’s achieved?
* Action your plan
Write your goal out and keep it handy. Look at it often.
It’s amazing what you can achieve if you are
determined enough to succeed.
You don’t know what you are capable of doing until you try. No goals – no glory!
