Where do these tips come from?
Over 2,300 people have attended my Asian and Pacific workshops. I have learned much by questioning many of these high-powered managers.
Much of this learned information has been included in our management, training, and communication books.
These were written largely to help students at the University of the South Pacific, and for the many managers at the 31 workshops held at the Singapore Institute of Management.
I also ran workshops for the Chamber of Commerce in Colombo, for training trainers in Indonesia, for doctors from the Medical schools in Vietnam, and for the Academy of Planning and Development in Bangladesh.
My questioning techniques used in these workshops were very similar to those used at the New Zealand Staff College. For details see our book titled “Training Secrets”.
These blogs are called “A Handful of Tips” because the recommendations have been limited to only five headings.
It’s not easy selecting only 5 recommendations from many of the 26 books published by Moss Associates Ltd., New Zealand.
86 editions of these books have been published by 31 publishers in 18 countries and in 11 languages.
