REDUNDANCY – Odds & Ends 42

It’s happened again!

Periodically Government Departments get gutted. New political parties when they come into power remove services set up by the previous party in power.

Budgets are reduced forcing Departments to disestablish many jobs making many people redundant.

Great stress is put on families. “What if I lose my job how will I feed my family and pay the mortgage?”

“Will I be able to find work?”

When returning from working in Asia,  I was shocked to see all my team from the Ministry of Agriculture were unemployed – they had been made redundant.

Not only that the Ministry, for the biggest export earner in New Zealand, had been disestablished and rebranded with very few staff.

That’s when  I wrote the book “No Job! What Now?”  It was written to help friends and my ex-team members look for work.

Hundreds of people are losing their jobs right now.

If you know of anyone looking for work tell them to download this book from my website. It’s available FREE and should be a great help to them.
